Dr David Reiner

Dr David Reiner graduated medical school in 2003 and completed his anaesthesia training at the Prince Of Wales Hospital in Sydney, Australia.

​

He has been working as a Anaesthesiologist in Canberra, at public and private hospitals, since 2011 and has administered anaesthesia to over 17,000 patients.

​

During a 3 year period as the quality and safety officer for the Australian New Zealand College of Anaesthetists in the ACT, he activated the WEBAIRS platform in the ACT – the Adverse Incident Reporting System.

​

He is a visiting academic for the John Curtin School of Medical Research at the Australian National University.

​

Outside of his anaesthesia practice, Dr Reiner enjoys playing sports. He is married with 4 children.

​

He also has a passion for utilising his anaesthesia knowledge in entrepreneurial ventures such as: 

• Steady Freddy, a topical anaesthetic spray used for the treatment for premature ejaculation.

• Dex, the only surgery-specific preoperative Australian-made complex carbohydrate drink.
